Duration: Trading Royale will feature three 3-month trading seasons per year, with a month break between seasons to allow participants to practice and explore participating partner platforms.
This season will run from January 16 to May 8, 2025. The first two weeks serve as a practice phase with live Q&A sessions and lessons, followed by the official competition from market open on January 30 to market close on May 8, 2025.
 Account Value Each participant begins with a $500,000 virtual trading account. This virtual balance provides the freedom to trade stocks, crypto, and options across a broad range of strategies, while encouraging diversification, creativity, and disciplined risk management within a realistic trading environment. Available Strategies Participants can trade Stocks, ETFs, Protective Puts, Covered Calls, Collars, Long Calls, Long Puts, Cash-Secured Short Puts, Debit and Credit Spreads (Puts and Calls), Iron Condors, Butterflies, and select Cryptocurrencies (limited to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Cardano) Risk Parameter 1 – Position Concentration Limit No single position may exceed 10% of the total portfolio value. For example, with an initial balance of $500,000, the maximum position size is $50,000. This limit dynamically adjusts as the portfolio’s value changes, ensuring balanced exposure and disciplined risk distribution throughout the contest.
